TERESA DIAS — BOSTON, MA

Teresa Dias (she/her) is a leadership development facilitator and coach with a background in expressive therapies, trauma-informed practices, and Play Therapy. 

With extensive experience working with individuals, families, and organizations, Teresa blends creativity and therapeutic techniques in her clinical private practice. As a skilled clinician and educator, Teresa has led workshops at international conferences and integrates her trauma-sensitive, play-based approach to foster both connection and change.

As a facilitator and coach with Inspiring Educators, Teresa brings her therapeutic skills to help leaders enhance emotional intelligence, resilience, and interpersonal communication. 

Teresa also brings an extensive and diverse range of experience as a performer to her facilitation with IE. She began her career onstage at age 15, with the circus. In 1998, she co-created a trapeze act which toured North and South America and Europe, and performed for six years in Germany’s thriving Cabaret scene.

For the past 17 years, Teresa has been part of the troupe at Playback Theater, a Boston-based improv company. Also called “True Story Theater”, Playback Theater uses deep listening and embodied empathy to foster connections and break down barriers.

Teresa holds a MA in Expressive Therapies with a specialization in Drama Therapy, as well as a BA in Expressive Therapies, both from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
