SARA KEENAN — BROOKLYN NY

Sara’s tone of voice set the tone for how open and vulnerable everyone would be allowed to become. She provided a safe space to learn. I was not expecting such a valuable, out-of-the box workshop. I felt heard.

Sara is a certified leadership coach, facilitator and consultant who brings over 15 years of experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs to her work with Inspiring Educators. Believing deeply in the power of coaching, Sara holds space for people to connect to their vision and values and to make shifts that support them in being the leader and human they want to be.

Sara did such a great job! Excellent timing, organization, and presentation skills. She was patient and gave us space to be ourselves.

Prior to launching her independent coaching and consulting work, Sara was the Managing Director of the Charter Network Accelerator, a national program supporting system leaders of small charter networks in building a foundation to grow with quality.  Earlier in her career, Sara managed leadership development for Achievement First, launching its leadership pipeline programs and strengthening the network's talent practices as it grew to be a network of 40 schools across 3 regions. Sara started her career teaching high school in Wisconsin, middle school in Chicago and served as a coach supporting NYC teachers in integrating media production and analysis into their classrooms.

Sara received a BS in English Education from the University of Wisconsin, and an MA in Media, Culture and Communication from NYU. She received her coaching training from the Teleos Institute in Philadelphia and is a certified executive coach through the International Coach Federation.  Sara lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two kids, and loves spending time in Prospect Park and playing music with friends and family.
