Joel has served as a consultant, facilitator, designer and coach in the professional training space for 30+ years. Joel has worked with the Ariel Group since 1995, and is a member of the original facilitating team at Inspiring Educators. Throughout his career, Joel has coached clients on four continents nonprofits and major multinationals.
Joel has trained and coached leaders at the executive education programs of Harvard Business School, Columbia, the Kellogg School of Management and Duke University. As a consultant, he specializes in leadership, focusing on behavioral change, relationship building, teamwork, influence across functions/boundaries, executive presence, and inspiring organizational change. Joel’s clients have included American Express, Bain Capital, Booz Allen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Deloitte & Touche, ExxonMobil, General Electric, The Hearst Corporation, Merrill Lynch, Praxair, Prudential, Société Générale and UBS.
Joel leverages his unique background in business, the arts, and psychology to deliver powerful insights for his clients. Joel has directed and performed in professional theater productions throughout North America.
