Kriste Peoples

Kriste did a great job of helping to implement peace within our minds regardless of what the outside world has going on.

KRISTE PEOPLES is a Denver-based writer, media producer, speaker and lover of the outdoors. She is also a teacher of mindfulness and meditation, and she joins Inspiring Educators as a facilitator of our program, Mindfulness & Wellbeing as Self-Care for Educators.

Kriste’s work in the field of equity and inclusion in nature combines speaking with facilitating instructional workshops, and she is passionate about connecting underrepresented communities to new narratives of engagement and wellness. Kriste is also the founder of Black Women’s Alliance (BWA) of Denver — a social network centered around the wellness and healing of Black women in body and mind. Just about everything Kriste does focuses on empowering people to be people—to share stories and adventures, to make more noise and take up more space.
