Cara Barrineau
CARA BARRINEAU is a facilitator and executive coach with an extensive background in communications, business and the arts.
She brings 11 years of executive coaching experience to her role and 23 years of professional acting experience to her role as coach. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive and challenging environment to help each participant build awareness, take risks and achieve individual goals.
She coaches executives face to face and virtually from Fortune 500 companies nationwide in leadership development, presentation skills, virtual presence & presentation skills, interpersonal skills, conflict management, sales skills, writing & organization. She has worked extensively with a wide range of business segments, including technology, entertainment, government and the financial industry. She also facilitates programs for the executive education programs at Harvard & Columbia and works with Achievement First, a network of public charter schools.
Cara’s business background dates back to 1995 with Nextel where she developed a training program for 11 indirect sales companies. She later moved to New York City where she continued her career in training and became an executive coach.
She has an extensive resume of theatre, film, television and commercial credits. She had a leading role in the feature film, End of the Spear, which appeared in theaters nationwide. She has also appeared Off-Broadway and has numerous television, commercial & regional theatre credits to her name. Her acting & coaching work has allowed her to travel extensively within the United States as well abroad. Cara has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and in Dramatic Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors’ Guild. Cara currently lives in the New York area with her husband, Kyle and two little boys, Taylor and Jackson.
