Sustain and renew their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to school leadership and to the communities they serve; fresh approaches for creating a renewed sense of community among the adults at school

The aim of the program is to help school leaders sustain and renew their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to school leadership and to the communities they serve. As such, it is designed to positively address the challenge of ‘burn-out’ in our talented, committed school leaders, and promote renewal and energized retention by providing an approach and a methodology to draw from the ‘well’ that can sustain leaders.

Participants learn new approaches for creating a sense of community among adults at school. Practices are offered for ways to replenish energy and recover from burnout. Inspiring Educators is pleased to offer The Leadership Well, a program designed to give principals, teachers and staff more energy and more capacity for doing the hard work that they’re doing back in schools, in partnership with the Center for Courage and Renewal at Wellesley College.  Together with Pamela Siegel, Program Director, this program can be modified to work with school leaders or school teams. There is also self guided programming to use over the course of school year. This is a two-day program, and includes ongoing check-ins.

Upon the Completion of the program, school leaders will be able to:

Ø  Develop new networks of support with other school leaders, counteracting the prevailing culture of overwork and isolation.

Ø  Reflect and reconnect to personal mission to revitalize leadership, which invites untapped potentials, passions, and talents of faculty and students.

Ø  Increase capacity to cultivate the kind of trustworthy relationships required to create a positive school climate in which teachers and students flourish

Ø  Hone personal practices of replenishment including relaxation, mindfulness,  movement and reconnection with joy
