Donna is a corporate trainer and executive coach as well as a Broadway actress and teacher. She has facilitated leadership programs for companies such as Inspiring Educators, Deloitte Consulting, Capital One, General Electric, Time Warner, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, various government agencies, as well as Columbia and Duke Universities, and the Harvard Business School. Donna is also a member of the faculty at The New School in New York, teaching for The Drama School at Parsons The New School for Design.
As Director of MCC Actor Training School in New York, Donna develops courses in voice, movement, improvisation, character building, writing, self-confidence and creative growth. Based on her training in the classics and improvisational theater (Second City, Chicago), Donna has helped thousands of individuals strengthen their communication and leadership skills; from actors and composers, to company executives, doctors, lawyers, and political leaders. Donna’s Broadway credits include Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. She has worked with Helen Hayes, Jimmy Stewart, Neil Simon, Mike Nichols, Dame Eileen Atkins, and Arthur Miller. Donna is an original member of the award winning Off-Broadway company, MCC Theater and has performed the classics extensively, particularly Shakespeare, in prominent theaters across the country. Donna is also director of Jabberwalk, her Improvisational Theatre Troupe.
Donna's TV credits include a running role on Law and Order and acting with Vanessa Redgrave in the film Playing for Time. She is a member of Actor’s Equity, Screen Actors Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Donna is an award-winning oil painter whose work can be seen in galleries in the U.S. and Canada. She holds a B.A. from Clarke College, and graduate degrees from both the Universities of Michigan and Minnesota where she also taught voice, movement, and acting.
