Alice Stone is the former Co-Chair of the Josiah Quincy School Association, an independent non-profit that provides enrichment programs to students at a Boston public elementary school.  

She was instrumental in funding and planning a swim instruction program at the school, after a study showed a majority of the students did not know how to swim and had never received swim instruction.   

An independent filmmaker, Alice has produced and directed award-winning documentaries that have been broadcast on PBS and around the world.  She is the mother of two children enrolled in Boston public schools.   Alice is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College, and her work on he IE Board has focused on marketing and communication.
